Continuing my series of blog posts pertaining to my vintage 1970's era Minifigs ECW armies, here are two more regiments of Parliamentary Foote:

"Red" Regiment, Trained Bands… doubtless looking both more red and better equipped than their real life counterparts ever would have!

I might also note in passing that the horrible events that happened in Newtown, CT occurred just a few towns away from me. My thoughts on that incomprehensible tragedy are also on my blog.

There is a bit of mildly political stuff towards the end, so any discussion of that should be kept off TMP.

Nicely painted. I hae always thought Minifigs, though stiff looking, if painted well look as good as most other figures.

I'd agree, and I think these ECW figures were among the best they did.
