Those of you looking for information on HMGS-South and our upcoming RECON convention (18-21 April 2013 in Orlando)are probably running into a "broken link" message when trying to access our website. We are in the process of building a new website and hope to have it up soon.

In the meantime please join us at link We do anticipate keeping this Yahoo group going even after the new website premiers.

Meanwhile not too early to plan on attending RECON!

Please take a look at the newly designed HMGS-South website!
It's not all up and running yet, but this will be the new home HMGS South going forward.

We are about 90 plus percent up and running. The only remaining critical portion, to be finished up in the next week, will be the form for submitting games for the conventions as well as the display of the convention grid.

You will find our first After Action Report (AAR) as well as our first virtual battlefield tour (Japanese pre-dreadnought HIJMS Mikusa) along with directions on how to submit your items. Soon we will also have book reviews. You will find a link to our discussion group as well.

We are making this a destination site you will want to check again and again and not just a vehicle to visit twice a year to register for our conventions.

Enjoy and as always comments and participation welcome.
