The first issue carrying a 2013 date is starting to appear. Those who have taken outn the PDF version will presumably be getting their copies pretty soon ! Just in time for a good read at Christmas.

This issue we have :

Voltigeurs in the Vineyards – Ghris Hahn : a solo version of Marengo

The Luck of Von Luckner – Rob Morgan : solo commerce raiding in WW I (with an ACW option !)

Solo Wings of War: Dogfight! – Paul Le Long : soloising Wings of War, and a campaign system !

Back to Basics: Simple Horse and Musket Rules – George Arnold – with Napoleonic and ACW options described

Biblical Ancients – Part I – Jeffrey G. Chorney : a huge solo campaign – looks very inspiring

Anson's Raid: The Greatest 18th Century Voyage Rob Morgan – naval skullduggery in the 18th century

Beneath the White Wolf Banner – Chris Hahn – a solo campaign of five linked battles set in 9th Century Europe – witha complete campaign write-up. Surely the perfect christmas diversion ?

Details of the SWA and LW subscriptions (Paper or PDF copy) can be found on the SWA Lone Warrior blog.

I just subscribed to the pdf version. Very reasonably priced at $15 USD for this year's four issues.

I think it's reallly woking out well having (almost) all the review type material on the SWA Web page – makes more room for articles in LW – and there have been some excellent ones this year. Going from strength to strength (IMHO).
