There had been a question on another thread if Lost Battalion Games was still functional. Here is their response to my email.

Hi Lance,
We are still in business but lost one of our employees that did a lot of the postings. It sounds like we have been silent on TMP. I'll see if I can get it back on our radar so we don't appear non-communicative. If you have any questions, please be sure to contact us directly.
Thank you,
Debbie

So we can order with confidence!

I just ordered a copy the other day and it shipped out immediately (though it hasn't arrived yet, but it's only been 2 days).

skyking2012 Dec 2012 9:31 a.m. PST

That too, is good news. I am ordering this weekend.

ajbartman12 Dec 2012 9:48 a.m. PST

Ordered around Thanksgiving. Got my stuff in a few days. Still going strong on BGG. link

The comms can be limited, but every time I've ordered (multiple times in the last year), I've had great service.

As mentioned, there's an active SMG community over on BGG. Several members of the LBG staff post there semi-regularly. BTW, I sent you a geekmail with some more info.

Hope you enjoy SMG!

Actually the game just got here. Wow, that was fast.

skyking2012 Dec 2012 1:32 p.m. PST

They had to hurry cause today is the end of the world right? I think I'll wait and wrap gifts tomorrow!

Flint, I am headed over to BGG now.

skyking2012 Dec 2012 2:00 p.m. PST

Thanks Flint but how do I find it? I am not familar with the BGG forum and such.

Got it. Thanks for the offer. I will use it.

Just sent my order in. Can't wait!

Blacky75013 Dec 2012 6:22 p.m. PST

still no replies to emails or when I ring they are always on the phone or on another call. Even Baxter gave better service than this

kduke4214 Dec 2012 4:17 p.m. PST

Are you looking for FAA miniature or things to do with Sergeants Miniatures Game?

PHGamer15 Dec 2012 9:19 p.m. PST

I can vouch that Lost Battalion Games is still in business. I am doing historical research work for their Sergeants game.

skyking2016 Dec 2012 2:03 p.m. PST

PH! research? Pacific Theater? North Africa? Can you spill a few beans?

Blacky75016 Dec 2012 5:02 p.m. PST

kduke

the actual miniatures, been trying to find out what has happened to the Soviet gun crews that used to be in the MLR 03 and 04 ranges, need them for Battlegroup Kursk amongst other things, and a whole stack of other stuff

Blacky75017 Dec 2012 3:04 p.m. PST

not sure how hard it is to answer an email, well their loss most likely, was looking at sending about US$500 their way but will spend it with Kelly's Heroes, Britannia and SHQ who answer email's and phone calls

kduke4214 Jan 2013 9:51 p.m. PST

December was a month with a lot of family changes. They are righting themselves and adding employees. Things will get much better.

kduke4208 Feb 2013 12:04 p.m. PST

The Red Devils kick starter program is looking good.

A couple more stretch goals reached! Plus an added benefit if folks will promote the kick starter on Facebook.

That makes four stretch goals that are confirmed to be added to the base Red Devils game that won't be included in the retail version.
And more coming.

I would love to see this infantry centric game in the pacific jungles!

I am heavily on board for this KS campaign.

I was wondering though if any of the fans of this game have tried it solo? It looks like it would work well given the order and story cards.

kduke4219 Feb 2013 11:53 p.m. PST

There are several people talking about solo play here.

skyking2020 Feb 2013 1:41 p.m. PST

Thanks for the link Kevin. I tried it about a week ago and it works solo.

Tekawiz20 Feb 2013 4:11 p.m. PST

If you're interested in solo skirmish you might want to check out Nuts by Two Hour Wargames which is designed for solo game play. I haven't played Sergeants but I would think with Nuts you could create a very similar experience and with much less cost.
