So, I have stripped the old paint off of my 1/72 ESCI nebelwerfer crew and am ready to repaint. They are wearing insulated winter uniforms and I need some general advice on how to paint white uniforms (other than the obvious "use white paint" ). |

Use black paint! B*&er got it wrong again :) For that scale I would try a light grey base coat then heavy highlight in white or ivory |

Black or dark grey undercoat, then build up with 2 or 3 shades of grey (not 50 obviously ;-)), finish by highlighting and/or drybrushing (off-)white. Don't forget to muck up bottoms of pant legs a bit etc

Thanks for the help folks, i have never painted winter camo before and don't want them ending up looking like Frosty. Question 2--were the y-straps,pouches etc. whitewashed or did they remain original colour |
