Beautiful figures. My question is exactly how big are they and what other manufacturer do they match up against, as I own a Sassanid army and would like to add some of the Lurkio figures to it. However, my figures are mostly Thistle & Rose, which are on the large size, say 18mm. Would the Lurkio figures match up with them? |

Hi Lou, The Lurkio figures are neither large or small (IMHO), so should be a good match for ‘normal' sized figures.Some folks have said they are are larger side. Here are a few independent comparisons link link Hope that helps thanks

I like Lurkio miniatures very much.
Only downside is that riders are separated at waist, and tend to be a delicate,(well proportioned but look smallish in comparison with heroic 15 mm).
But look very good as a force, and single miniatures.
I did not bought another armies (Byzantines and Goths) is because I am waiting to finish my DBA Sassanians from which Ive been sidetracked (I have 2 hordes left to paint)
I like later moors as this means that Lurkio will get back from South American Indians i am not interested in at all back to fall of the Roman Empire.. I am hoping for Hephtalites, Wandals, Franks, Slavs and maybe Arab conquest ! |
