Now of course if you look at the photos of the artillery emplacements during the Vietnam war there wasn't really a fear of Counter Battery fire it appears. Robert

That did work on occasion, but is terribly embarrasing if you time the move back wrongly.

Yep Martin. And some times the point of the bombardment was to get the enemy to move out of their positions. grin Robert
