We will be running a large game covering the invasion of Crete this year at Historicon 2013. It will cover the German landings at Malame, Prison Valley, and Retimo – covering over 30 feet of table :) Nothing more exciting in Command Decision than a paratrooper drop – and there are multiple regiments dropping in this one! Come by and enjoy :) |

This sounds like a lot of fun. We will try to make it. We did the invasion of Crete in 20mm using Panzer Korps and it was a blast. Since PK is a divisional level game, we were able use all the forces available to both sides and let the axis determine their strategy. Table size was about 32 feet on 4 tables. HR GAMES |

@HRGWORLDS We will be doing it in 15mm. Command Decision is a game where one stand = one platoon, but we will still have all of the historical forces available at those three landing zones. It is something on the order of 12 battalions of German Paras, and 15 battalions of Australians, New Zealanders, British and Greeks. That is just the infantry formations, it does not include AA, artillery, and other support units. I was tempted to do the landing at Heraklion, just for completeness sake, but I just think that particular drop would make for terrible game, since the disparity in troops is so great, so we are simply lopping off that particular drop zone to keep the game more manageable and more fun. @Shark Six Three Zero I'll try and get some pictures taken of miniatures and terrain and post them – hope you enjoy :) |

Well worth the bump! Going to Historicon and at the very least will stop by to see this one, should be pretty amazing. |
