Greetings!
We've got some new 15mm French units for the 1870 period…

Mostly Essex and Old Glory figures…

If you want to have a look at them, riflemens.blogspot.fr/2012/12/1870-renforts-francais1870-french.html

Thanks!
Hope you enjoy,
Phil.

Really nice. I am getting very interested in this period. Thanks for the pictures. I am debating 15 or 10mm.

Me too although I'm thinking about 15 or 28mm.

Look great, and La Haye Sainte (?) is a perfect backdrop. Shark 630, if you go for 10mm I'd really recommend Pendraken. A fabulous quality and very extensive range, very competitive prices, and excellent service. Pretty good combination, if you ask me! They also have a goof forum on their website, where you can see some others comments on this range. Oh, and no, I am not a sock puppet, or on a retainer, but I do have thousands of their figure from this period, and I am a very satisfied customer.

For those contemplating larger scales, be sure to check out the absolutely adorable 30mm figures from Spencer Smith Miniatures. Same amount of detail as 28mm, but shaped like humans and not oversized dwarfs.

Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated!
@ Mollinary, yes, you're right, it's La Haie Sainte, clearly seen!
@ Callan : too late for me today, but I'll go to look at your link tomorrow!
And once again, thanks for your comments!
All the best,
Phil.

Thanks Ged,
I knew your blog, you have really beautiful figurines (I left a message some time ago), thank you for your very nice comment…
For the scale, we also have french and prussain armies in 6mm…

Only one post on our blog, it is really little for my eyes now! The post is here…

@Geir : I've just looked at the site, really nice…and better for my eyes! I really found the
"FRENCH CHASSEURS À PIED" figures great! And you're right, a very nice collection!

Thanks for your comments!
All the best,
Phil.
