I did some lovely(?) orange and green Space Marines for my daughter at the University of Texas at Dallas a few weeks back and morally had to (read: was coerced by the better half to) do a few more Space Hulk sets in other school colors for other relatives.

… it's about time.

My buddy and I did some to represent NFL teams.
I did the Chicago Bears and he did the San Francisco 48ers.
Lots of laughs there…

Thanks.

All kinds of team colors are fun. For some reason I find that more enjoyable that fitting national colors to scifi applictions (especially the more theatric ones).

I am on the hook to produce some Collingwood Magpies Space Hulk teams in the near future (I think this will be a challenge because black and white can end up looking lame unless you think hard first.). But, first, I have to follow up the Wright State U ones for my brother-in-law with some Fairborn High School ones for his boys and some pink-n-purple ones for his girls … I'm thinking butterfly wings …

Yep … Fairborn Skyhawks and Purple'n'Pink Faeries .. they'll do …

Fairborn Skyhawks? Looks like I'll have to do its parent chapter, the Park Hills Vikings, in brown and gold. :)

I think by order of succssion, the Central Flyers were established first … maybe we should ask Matt Ward? :)

They do have your brown in there.

[inside info: In Fairborn, OH, were my nephews'n'nieces live (and where the better half is from), the secondary and primary schools combined into a single system. Park Hills and Fairborn Central were the two school districts within the city.)

Close. Central was the the Jr High. Originally, the building was Bath Township High, then later Fairborn High, until they built the new high school. They were the Fairborn Flyers, blue and gold. When they built Park Hills in the late 60's, Fairborn was renamed Baker HS, retaining the Flyer nickname. (PH were the Vikings.) In the 80's both were consolidated into the new Fairborn Skyhawks, in the Park Hills building. Even as a Viking, I was sorry to see the 'Flyer' moniker go away.
