I was at the local hobby shop in Champaign this weekend and picked up two of the X-Wings. I assume they are about 1/144 scale. Also in the series were the Tie Advanced, and Tie Defender. I am not sure if they make an Tie Fighter in the snap kits or not. I can always use the Tie Defenders as fighters if they do not make the figher in scale. I can scale up the maneuver templates and range guides with no problems. I have a work up for a decent scale battle of 101 point and another for 150 points that could pretty well be done. They were a good price at $6.95 USD each so that is fairly cheap. I would have to step up the painting a knotch or two. Here is the match up I am looking at: 101 Points each Rebel (4 X Wings) Wedge 29 pts Luke 28 pts Red Sqdr 23 pts Rookie 21 pts Imperial (1 Tie Adv, 5 Tie fighers) Darth Vader Tie Adv 29 pts Mauler Mithel 17 pts Backstaber 16 pts Black Sqdr 14 pts Obsidion Sqdr 13 pts Academy Pilot 12 pts For a larger battle of 150 points I have this plus three options for the Imperial players. TIE Defender or TIE Interceptor? I can't find any models from Revell of a TIE Defender.

My bad Tie Interceptor. I can never keep the two separated. I do think they or someone made a snap kit of the Interceptor. VR James Mattes
