Hi all Just wondering what you guys think a typical club website should have? So far I have thought of:- Contact details Address and map What we play (with photos and maybe separate pages for each) Links to sites of interest/memebers sites Forum/Link to forum Club events Meeting calendar Photo galleries of games Anything else which is useful for prospective members? We use yahoo groups not the best for attracting local folks, we do need to look at a better way. Good discussion. John Southern Maryland Wargaming Club |

I think the calender should have the option to list games and the number of player spaces available in each so that members can check whether it's worth their while coming along that week. |

Well we've just revamped ours with a view to getting away from Yahoo groups eventually. Got calender of events and some descriptions, together with committee, contacts, google maps to venues etc. What you do have to have is: Terms of use Privacy Policy Cookie warnings and information (EU law) if use them. Our new one is penarthwargames,co.uk so always appreciate any comments and pleased ot help if need info. Did it with Wordpress as so easy Stewart |
