Ahead of a proper announcement on TMP, here is a link to the new B & D Miniatures site. The first batch of AWI miniatures are up, and there will be a new release of non-uniformed militia by Christmas. And plenty more to come!

Have been waiting for these every since the sneak peek of the greens a few weeks ago. Thanky for the update!

How do they measure up scale wise? Closer to the newer Blue Moon 15/18mm or closer to a Minifig or Polly Oliver?

Thanks for sharing

Is that link working for anybody?

Silurian30 Nov 2012 11:56 a.m. PST

A little smaller than the current Blue Moon miniatures. About 15mm to the eyes.

Nevermind it seems to work for me now…..
Very nice figures, I wouldn't mind picking some up.

Ditto on the very nice figures. I like the appropriate animation too ;-) Looking forward to ordering some of these in the future.

I really like the single figure – mix and match option. I can order several of the Officer/NCO's with a few others.

Did TMP ever make an official announcement, because those are NICE figures, and the prices when you buy larger quantities are excellent, and add to that the mix and match option…BAM, you've got the beginnings of one fine AWI range! When the militia comes out I will be placing an order, and hope that you continue to expand. 71st Highlanders in trews, 7th Fusiliers in hat, and British Legion infantry…all to satisfy my 1:5 Cowpens project please!

Nice effort – hope they do well.

Good to see someone making sergeants with halberds – useful for both sides, and still carried by colour guards etc after most officers and NCOs went to muskets.

Small nit-pick – fifers wore bearskins (still ok for Continentals and some Loyalists, but not British regulars).

I'll have to email them. They were supposed to have their militia out around Thnaksgiving.

Any word on the militia?
