I like my Gordon and Hague 10mm figures, but I would like to supplement my armies a bit.

Does anyone have any reccomendations for other ACW figures that would mix in well size wise? I am wondering if Pendraken is close?

If anyone has any pictures comparing G & H figures to other 10mm brands that would be great.

I don't know of anyone that has these… There is a compare shot on this board from a few weeks back that might help.

I have G&H as well and they are on the bigger end of the 10mm spectrum. I do not have a large range to compare, but of what I do have Old Glory is the closest. Perrin is not to bad. Stay away from GHQ and high 10s they seem to be on the other end of the size spectrum.

Since I already had a large amount of GHQ, I will likely judt use the G&H cav as tgey look good and liquidate most of the infantry.

HTH,

Aaron,

I would be interested in what you are getting rid of. Let me know.

Odd--when I go their website, I don't see ANY 10mm product for sale--just 15mm unpainted!!

Not sure what to make of it. . . .

Thank you Aaron.

Do you have any Pendraken ACW figures?

Thank you Ancientsgamer. I love General Sherman's Blog!

As to the unpainted 15s, on Facebook it was announced the factory was changed and they moved to 15s for better detail. I am hoping they also return to their 10mm line.

No I currently do not have Pendraken…mostlty GHQ, high10 and now G&H.

As for G&H unfortunately 10mm will no longer be available due to an issue with the factory. As I understand it they are switching to 15mm for future ACW releases as well as the upcoming AWI line.

A Facebook friend sent me this information:

I found Minifigs (http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk//Home.aspx) 12mm range is very close in size and have everything you may need.
Blaze Away link are very much spot on size wise but do not have limbers yet. However they do have some interesting extras.
The old Pendraken were also OK as to size

Are you *&^%$(* kidding me?? What about those of us with half-built armies of the G&H stuff???

*face-palm*

I should have listened to the critics. . . .

Thanks for the info anyway.

*sigh*

Endless Grub,
There may still be some 10mm Gordon & Hague figures in stock. I ordered very recently. The owner said he still hopes to return to the 10mm line too.

The Gordon and Hague website presently lists 15mm and 10mm ACW armies as products. This seems to confirm the 10mm line is not being abandoned.
