Hello chaps, I wonder if anyone could tell me if there is a manufacturer that produces shield transfers for 15mm Middle Imperial Romans, and if there isn't what have others done to decorate there shields ( used proxies etc ). Thanks in advance for any info, best wishes

Your best bet is "Little Big Man Studios" look under 15mm transfers and then the Manufacture of the mini's you are going to use. They more than likely will have some! |

You could also try Veni Vidi Vici, they make waterslide transfers. If you know have a picture of the shield pattern you want, e.g. from Phil Barker's book Armies and Enemies of Imperial Rome, but cannot find it commercially then try contacting CitadelSix Custom Design. They specialise in making waterslide transfers to order. Their URL is citadlsix@btinternet.com. The chap who runs the show is very helpful. He ran a stall at the Colours show in September (in the UK) and had a very impressive catalogue showing all sorts of figures he had designed shield decals for. The price was very reasonable and the product is excellent. |
