Upcoming 5150 expansion. 5150 is a science fiction skirmish game from Two Hour Wargames. 5150 Star Army focuses on military units (covering everything from a few men to a side to an entire company) while 5150 New Beginnings focuses on RPGlite type stuff in an urban environment. 5150 is having a few space ship combat games coming out (big fleets with Star Navy, small dogfights in Wing Leader). 5150 Fringe Space kinda bridges the gap between ground and space while also turning up the RPGlite into more or less full on RPG (though written from the perspective of someone who likes tactical combat). So, essentially, 5150 Fringe Space is an expansion to 5150 New Beginnings that adds in more RPG elements while also adding in RPG level space ship combat. By itself its kinda a Fireflyish/Travellerish SF Adventure game. With all the other 5150 stuff you can basically play any SF adventure you can imagine
from being admiral of a massive fleet to leading a rebel army to dogfighting in the heart of a massive space station. |

Thanks for the info. I actually own ATZ:FFO and 5150:NB but the only new THW game I knew about war Wing Leader, so I was kinda surprised to see another game in development that also features spaceship combat, albeit at a smaller scale. I noticed there was some kind of Netrunner character in the character's posse. I don't remember that type from NB, is it a new character role? Like in Cyberpunk? |

Man, we need a listing of all the 5150 rules, and supplements, and what is included with them. I can't keep up with them all. |

Hmmm

I think once they're all out it'll be easier to figure it out. Its really pretty simple: "Ground": 5150 New Beginnings (urban RPGlite) 5150 Star Army (military) "Space": 5150 Wing Leader (dogfights) 5150 Star Navy (navies) "Both/SF Adventure": 5150 Fringe Space. Netrunner is one of the "Crime" jobs in New Beginnings. Its like a hacker for heists and such, pretty much. |

I'm excited about the Wing Leader game
curious to see how it feels compared to Silent Death and Hard Vacuum. |

I'm writing 5150 WL but I've never played SD or HV so I cannot tell you :) Here you have a small review of the rules saying something about it: link |
