I'm busily tearing up the floor in the wargames room at the moment, which means that there is depressingly little gaming taking place. It does mean that I've been able to go back over some unfinished blog entries and finish off one or two that I didn't get around to be the first time. We'd been playing through the Vercours Campaign (French Resistance versus the Nazis in 1944) and to be honest, the first game did not go well for us Frenchies. The second game in the campaign is a German assault on a French occupied plateau – you can see how that went here. link |

History repeating itself, at least on the board. Interesting campaign. |

Thanks chaps. The wine had been in the shed and needed warming as it was baltic outside. |
