I havent seen much posted about the rules at TMP. Any thoughts? How difficult? What rules are they similar to (if any)? Cheers. U.K. |

I've bought it and played it a bit. The rules are simple, but very tied to the miniatures. You have movement cards that match the figs for both stats and movement. You use their stat cards on the table to move, which can get fiddly. The rules are fun, but there aren't that many minis and it is entirely infantry focused. It's fun, but I saw it as a filler game to be honest. |

We really like it and generally play it as an inbetween game. Real tactcis seem to work for this game. |

Love most of the figs, think the fluff is cool. Tried the rules several times and found the core mechanics solid, but the card-gimmick annoying. Call me old-fashioned used to tape measures and such, but it seems the card movement/template thing was an idea that works better on paper. (so to speak) I'd play more often if there was a straight-up ruler version of the game. That said, Kem Var and Keizei Waza figs are awesome. |

I have not played the game, but I did notice that the Warstore has the miniatures on sale cheap and thought I would contribute that to the discussion. Here is the link: link Jeff |

I've played a couple of times and we even took it to a local con to demo it the last summer tho I didn't run it there myself. The basic rules are easy enough but the rules are rather "gamey" instead of "realistic" IMCO and some situations can get rather weird because of that. If that doesn't bother you none then it's not a bad very small skirmish game I suppose; I must admit I haven't really played it enough yet to get the hang of what works consistently and what works only because you get a lucky break. |

The stat cards are all available on their website now, as are the quick start rules. All you'll need is five models on 30mm round bases and a 2' x 3' board and you're good to go. |
