OK, I know this is not strictly Wargaming but here is a link to photos of my Hasegawa 1/48th Hawker Typhoon on my wargaming blog!

Thanks for looking!

Nice, especially like the photo at the end!

I like Typhoons for their rockets!

Thanks fred, yeah, I love them too! They never get as much attention as the Spits and Hurricanes!

Hi Tim, thanks for the comments! I'm glad you liked the Typhoon.

As for the panel lines, it's been a while since I built this kit (actually last Summer, I'm using this blog to show my old stuff first…), but I'm sure it wouldn't have been anything more complicated than a simple black ink wash.

I had an old pot of Citadel Chaos Black ink that I kept toping up with water, so it was really rather thinned down (it's too far gone now…). I will have just spread it across with a big soft brush and made sure it made it's way into the recesses.

As I said in the post, I am no modeller, so it would have been a technique I use for wargaming figures. You can see where some of the ink has collected on the panels anyway, so it's not perfect!

I hope that's of some help!

Not a modeler? Well, I hope you enjoyed making as much as I enjoyed viewing it. Quite the troop transport!
