Anyone working on sculpting a race of strong, semi-savage gorilla men for use with 15mm?

Perhaps something like this, but with a more simian posture?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Lots of potential for use, I think. Hollow Earth dwellers, Earth's rulers in the distant post-apocalyptic future, or even an alien planet populated by hairy semi-primitive primates.

Imagine these alien primates with a few basic weapons:

What do you guys think?

They are coming as soon as the mold is finished this week. 4 different monkey men with clubs sculpted by whiff whaff.

Will then know how these guys are at making molds and get our greens sent to them for mastering.

The 15mm armoured orcs from Rank & File (I don't know who they are now RAFM did them for a while) are almost a perfect fit. Sadly I can't find a photo.
I've been thinking of painting mine up as Apes to fight my colonials VSF or as a Ape city deep in the Congo.

Napthyme,

Got any pics of the greens?

Thanks,

Dan

I used 15mm Beja tribesmen for something similar.

Not perfect, but with teeth and fangs painted on it might work.

@ Dan,

I would suggest the Coppelstone 15mm Fantasy Picts: link

Club and bow armed. Speedy delivery and helpful sales team too.

Cheers,

In case anyone else wants to take a crack at it:

GeeZus – when you see them shaved like that, it certainly does emphsise that you really, really wouldn't want to mess with a gorilla.

The size of that torso is just terrifying.

Whiffwhaff has definitely proven he can do gorilla men:

Now all he needs to do is duplicate that same feat for 15mm, right?

John T,

Nowadays that, unlike Nature's cruel culling, humans try to save every baby animal to maturity, you really don't need to shave them to see their amazing musculature:

Not really primitive, but maybe these other guys could be a different faction on an Ape-dominated world:

You know, paint their body armor metallic and their clothing in reds and leathers and they might just work for more primitive or post-apocalyptic.
