The Fall newsletter is now available on the website.

fascinating that no where do you advertise the details on Little Wars 2013, even the last page highlighting other conventions…but not your own?

Talk about it general terms, and even family specific terms but no dates web site etc?

You are at the link to the Little Wars info when you use the above link to read the newsletter. It's in the menu to the left, 3rd link down.

Not trying to be snarky, just trying to be helpful.

There has also been other posts lately about the convention. So I saw no need to put anything about the con in the newsletter.

So I saw no need to put anything about the con in the newsletter.

Even in this age of e-everything, your newsletter is still one of your best advertising tools. The LW convention dates should be mentioned in every issue. Mention the convention and dates in everything that you put out there and if you think that you've plugged it enough, then do it again. And again, and again.

C'est vrai?

sorry, you could use someone with marketing experience.

NEVER forgo an opportunity to promote and merchandise your product.

I've seen the posts, but i could not tell you right now when exactly the convention is. Just did not retain it.

studies have indicated we retain 10-15% of what we hear/read for any significant time…that means you have to repeat, repeat, repeat what you wish to impart through every channel available.

seems to me your excellent newsletter [and it is very good] ought to, as a given, ALWAYS promote your next event. [and keep in mind someone may print that off and pass it to another]…

Just my 2 cents; YMMV.

Thanks pat, but when I hit a link for a newsletter and see a flashing sign with """"NEW""""" I tend to say, thats what I am looking for and click it.

I might go back and sniff around the site; but I might not…

You should always take advantage of EVERY opportunity to promote your product.

Conventions live on attendance; clear dates are paramount for enabling that.

Thanks for your concern. I know you are not being snarky.

I too am sincere in my observation.

Actually I usually do include a listing on the last page, but I have been busy and was rushing to get it out.
