I have recently purchased 5150 New Beginnings and have been planning a campaign with it (different universe and setting so a lot of tables need to be changed around). One thing I would quite like to do though is a way to put some proper military hardware into the campaign (power armour and such). Now, I heard that Star Army is the military equivalent of New Beginnings but how well do things translate from game to game? Ideally, I would like to keep some of the man-to-man and RPG elements in NB but feature kit heavier than a rifle. Is it worth getting SA too ($40 is a little steep for both) or are there house rules or something which people would like to share? |

Things translate just fine, I have borrowed a few elements from Star Army for New Beginnings games without hassle. |
