"The Heights of Courage" by Avigdor Khalani is available for free from Archive.org

The author commanded an Israeli armored unit during the fighting.

(By the way, the Archive.org heading says the publication date was 1944, but that's not correct. This book was originally published Hebrew shortly after the war and translated into English in the early 1990's.)

Great one – I've been after that book. I've got the Osprey 'Centurion vs T-55' book and that's basically all about the Golan battles. This book should really flesh things out a bit.
