Are there any historical gamers in the Stanardsville and Charlottesville area. I am moving up there this summer to open a bed and breakfeast and looking for a club or people to play. I manily do 40mm Sash and Saber but open to other areas if necessary |

I know a gamer up there (George) who is interested in finding a group as the last bunch he played with drifted apart. If you email me (rhofrichter at comcast dot net) I can pass along your email to him. He's into space and ancients, IIRC. Not exactly a group, but two folks are better than one! Rob |

Well if you offer gaming as part of the B&B it might attract those of us in the metro area to come down for a week. :-) |

Blackwater Pete: I am about 1.75 or 2 hours away from you just north of Roanoke. There are other gamers scattered about in Staunton, Lexington and other areas of the valley. James also pointed out the folks in Lynchburg. I know there are some other gamers in Charlottesville. Hopefully they will see your message (as I think some of these guys frequent here) and respond. I know of at least one guy who has a hugh gaming area and thousands of 25mm figures. If you do not find anyone prior to getting set up in Charlottesville, give me a shout and I will try and chase up some local contacts. Doug |

I live in Charlottesville, as does the illustrious Dan Beattie. There are two local fllgs, the End, and Cville hobbies and games. No organized club as such but there are a lot of gamers around here and in the Valley. Quite a bit of Flames of War over there and up north in Fredericksburg. There is serious talk about getting up a regional club for historical gaming. I think that website is something like 29th Division Historical Gamers, you should check it out. Also you are welcome to pm me, but at work right now. Bob Deane |

I split my time between Fairfax and the Charlottesville area, and had no idea that there were any gamers down here! I'd be happy to get together. I'm set up mostly for 20mm WW2, 25mm Colonial, and 1/300 airplanes, but interested in playing just about anything. CB Stevens |
