I was doing a bit of a search for Paper kits of buildings and found the following. link and link Haven't checked if there are anymore, I'm just about to. I know they are modern, but they also cry out to be used in an SF way. Wondering if anyone has had any experience of these kits? **Edit*** actually they are downloadable so can be scaled on the printer. And does anyone have any experience of this company. Tried to do a test download of one of the free kits and it seems like you have to buy a kit at the same time as you get one of the free kits. Unless I am missing something obvious on the site. |

I've been making some use of these too: scalescenes.com Although ostensibly scaled to OO and N guage (for model railways) they are downloaded as colour PDF files so could be easily printed at 1/100 scale. |

I'm actually just in the middle of printing out a load of scalescenes roads and pavements. Luckily enough I found a scale reduction chart. For some reason I had got it into my head that OO need to be scaled down to 56% for 15mm. link Just found the Bell XV1 and Bell XV3 on the site, which along with Revell Fairey Rotodyne (suitably converted) might just become part of an near future airmobile group. I just want to find out if anyone has used the company before I dip toe in the water. Because I get a bit wary when someone makes it difficult to get ahold of one of the trial kits. |

Yes I got a couple of ecardmodels "free" models, it was a right hash getting them, I think I finally ended up contacting the company and they sent me an email (I think) it was sometime ago, but I haven't bothered about buying anything from them because of the hassle of getting the "free" stuff. There are easier companies and websites out there to use and get stuff from. |

Yeah ARN, I'm having a bit of a look while the printer is overheating doing roads. Checking for more user friendly sites. No worries Zeelow. I only put it in on the off chance someone would be able to make use of it. And there is a dodgy version going round where a guy who copied it left out the blank cells. So that if you used his version of the chart everything in the upper right triangle is out of whack. My printer ink levels thank Martin Waligorski and his original version :-) |

Hey PP, Where are the links on Ecard. I went to download the Amerika bomber as a trial. The only way I could see to do it was to add it to the shopping cart. But when you try going that way you get a message saying or words to the effect. That it's not a correct value. Being $0 USD on the cart. This after making me give detals to open an account. Not financial but email etc. Not just noobs that chart is useful for. Was very handy for me as well. |

Slightly OT, but Genet Models is having a sale that ends today. It's 28mm stuff but you can scale it during print. genetmodels.com/shop.php |

Hi 1909 I initially was going to download 1 of the free stuff items but ended up purchasing a building as well, the instructions for the free stuff was to load it into your cart follow procedure and then wait for manual confirmation. Your downloadable goodies links are in your account (hence the rigmaroll with opening an account), now I'm not sure if it was because I purchased an item as well as the free stuff but my links to both were ready and waiting for me in my account. BTW the account tab is at the very top of the page The rulers from Scalescene are damn useful too, thanks to Mr QRF for that link. regards dave |
