Does anyone know whether Copplestone Casting's 'Soul Section' figures are compatible size wise with Hasslefree and Reaper figures? Thanks, there's something big going down in Little China!

I don't have an exact comparison, but…

Here's a Reaper and EM4 mad max comparision. the Copplestone castings figs are going to be the same size as the EM4 (same sculptor, same style, almsot the same fig in some cases) except that there'll be a couple mm's of cast-on base attached.

Hasslefree figs are usually just a bit smaller than EM4, with the female figs being smaller still.

I have that reaper fig, and several hasslefree (though not THAT specific figure). They fit together just fine.

I don't own any copplestones from that line, but have found that reapers and hasslefrees work ok with other copplestones. The copplestones are a millimeter (or at MOST two) shorter than the reapers, but no more than that. They fit together just fine in my eyes.

It's a yes and no answer from me, I have both figures and while the body dimensions are very close Action has absurdly large details, bellbottoms, afro, shirt makeing him seem bigger.

Took some pictures. Zombies are Wargames Factory ones, other miniatures are a collection of reaper, hasslefree and copplestone. It is worth noting that my zombies are on fender washers and the other minis are on a variety of other bases (slotta base, hexes, squares) I eventually plan to rebase, but since (as you can see) a lot of my stuff isn't even PAINTED yet, that project is on the back burner.

Not sure where the redheaded flat-top guy on the far left is from, but the spy and swat guy are copplestone, and all three are either on GW-style slottabases or an E4M hex base.

Sorry about crappy photo skills, it's late and the lighting in my "study" is mediocre at best

Higher res photos are on my google+ / Pisca album link

BigNickR,

First, a huge thank you for your response. You have gone beyond what I may have reasonably expected.

Second, you have answered my question. The figures do all appear to complement each other. The "Action" Jackson figure is not too tall and, IMHO, even if larger than the others, for a one off figure, it is more than acceptable.

Ordinarybass and The Grey Ghost, thank you for your input. I need one of those police cars.

BigNickR09 Nov 2012 4:41 a.m. PST

Thanks, I try.

I'll bet you his police car is from a line called "road champs" (I have a few myself.) They make them for pretty damn near ALL jurisdictions in the US, so you can afford to be choosy.

Close, It's a Kinsmart. About the same price.

Alot of grocery stores and model shops seem to have them. You see them in those cardboard tray without boxes.

However, I've since switched to "Welly" brand squadcars with CPD logos. You can see them and other welly vehicles here:

Some good deals to be had at that link.

Lastly, here's my review of the Welly Crown Vic.

I'd love to read your review but that link goes to an ebay auction.

Sorry about that.
Here's the link to my brief review of the Welly Crown Vic.

As BigNickR says, it's a bit smaller than the Kinsmart in a good way. Also has the correct wheels and a bit of additional interior detail.
