I'm considering doing 3 days of Gettysburg

I would not be surprised to see several Gettysburg games being run

it is beginning to look like their will be a FOW Juniors Tournament being run on the 28th. It will be open for Junior High School and HS age students. There will also be a Mega FOW Stalingrad game on the 27th.

Could you elaborate on what the theme "turning points" entails?

Bowman14 Nov 2012 4:24 a.m. PST

I'd assume it was any battle which turned the tide of the war……..so, Midway, Stalingrad, Gettysburg, etc.

Wouldn't it be better to just leave it at the disgression of the GM? He can explain his choice during the preamble.

I am sure most any game is acceptable. Like at most conventions you can go with the theme or do something else. I think it is a great theme with lots of possibilities.

Saratoga
Gettysburg
Antietam
El Alamein
Midway
Stalingrad
Inchon
Tet Offensive
Marathon
Naseby
Trafalgar
Plains of Abraham

To name a few.

I think that Bowman & Rallynow effectively answered the question

All games are acceptable – especially since I am the events manager :-)
