My friend Rob Hall took some great shots of our South Florida Miniatures Gamers ACW Weekend 2012. This year we played Shiloh over Saturday and Sunday using my 10mm collection and the classic Fire & Fury scenario. The game turned out to be a substantial Confederate victory with casualties in favor of the Rebs by a three to one margin at the end of play Sunday. The Union left flank collapsed early on day two of gaming bringing an early end to the contest. Here is a photobucket link to Rob's pics.

Bet the people in the cabin thought it was gettin a bit nosily outside. I like when the figure bases blend in with the table

Bill,

The game looked awesome as always. Hope you get a chance to make it back up north at some point.

Amazing photos

Last time we played Shiloh had the same sort of result – by game's end the Union were penned to the river with rapidly collapsing front lines and their reinforcements stalled by valiant Confederate reserves – if the Rebs can keep the pressure on, it can be very hard for the Union to recover

Scott, if I could ever convince Barbara of the advantage of such a move…..ah, never mind. Next year for Historicon I am planning a big AWI event using my 28mms in which George, Eric and you might be interested.

As someone who watched his troops under the command of Sherman evaporate on the Purdy Road, if you ever get a chance to play in one of Bill's games at a convention, jump at it. A great time was had by all.

Thanks for the game, I look forward to driving 4 hours again, each way, to get my lunch handed to me.
