Hey all! Well, carrying that stupid camera around Fall In pays off
here is the first set of photos, from the Dealers Hall! And as always, if you can fill in any missing names, please let me know! link |

Great shots. It's sad that the hall was not as crowded as usual. It looked like a lot of venders stayed home like Rebel Mike. Still good stuff to grab! I got my Russians and Chechens from Eureka while I was there! |

I'd love to provide you the web site for John Mayer on your blog, but the security to make sure I am a robot is insurmountable by me. I can never tell what the hell those ciphers are!! The sounds of numbers are even worse. I gave up after a half dozen attempts of strange letters/numbers and a blurry picture of ??? so google: Buildings in Turmoil |

It was odd this year. The Flea market at Fall In is usually a bust and I made out like a champ in there this year where people realised that the prices in the flea markert did not mean vendor's hall prices. The Vendors hall, mainly the rear right hand corner was open due to lack of vendors which was quite a shame becuase for all the bad storms there was quite a good turnout for Fall In this year. Hopefully we have some good weather and get in an even bigger Cold Wars where all the vendors are able to make it. |

Round Top Miniatures has been replaced by Building in Turmoil, a father/son co-op. I (Jeffrey, the son) have been deployed overseas and was unable to attend Fall-In. Glad you like our buildings. We can be found at buildings-in-turmoil. |

Lord Ashram: That was indeed our booth. I wish I would have known it was you. Would have loved chatting with you a bit. The pic you have labeled as Pictor's Studio is actually of The Toy Soldier Gallery. Despite a lower turn out we did well at the show and had a blast. |

Lord Ashram, Yes, the first picture is Eureka Miniatures Wars of the French Revolution Display. The second picture is one of our display shelves. Glad you enjoyed yourself and thanks for the pictures. Rob Eureka miniatures usa |

Actually
. there were more vendors there than there has been since the move
AND
had the storm and such not kept away the ones that cancelled, the hall would have been full. Attendance was actually UP (even with the storm)
the numbers don't lie. |

Hey all! Thanks for the updates, I'll fix up the blog. I'd be happy to introduce myself, but I feel a little stupid saying "Hi, I'm Lord Ashram." Come on, that is vaguely tool-ish:D Next time, for sure:) Thanks again! |

There were still a ton of staple vendors that were unfortunately missing this year. |

That's interesting I don't recall any one selling staples at Fall In before. :) |

I dont think this was true at all. Looking at the dealer hall map a few weeks before the show indicated a large empty corner of the dealer hall (much like two years ago) along with another dozen or so empty tables as well as a layout with greater space between some booths. Your attendance numbers of 1600 (read in another post) may or may not be true, I suspect there are a number of pre-registered gamers that didnt show up but were counted in the total number. I am aware of a number of dealers (including myself) that were unable to attend. I have also spoken with a few dealers who report a slow weekend with lower than average sales (no fault of the convention or location just bad luck with Mother Nature). "Actually
. there were more vendors there than there has been since the move

My estimate by eyeball was 3-4 hundred and I thought it could be more or less. What do I know? |
