Is there anyone who makes them in 15mm? I'm looking for militia types who are armed with M16s, rifles, maybe AK47s. I know that Stan has them in 20mm: link I want "troops" who would fit into "Red Dawn", "Falling Skies", or "Jericho": link
Oh, and I know about Rebel Minis figures. I want figures that are more like everyday Joes in street clothes who pick up the gun would be comfortable fighting off aliens, zombies, red hoards, and whatever other madness I can come up with. I don't want "punks", "street thugs", and "Mad Max" looking figures. Just regular looking people wearing civilian clothes (maybe some Army kit) and carrying modern weapons. If there aren't any then is there any demand for them? Maybe to propose to Eureka or someone else? Thanks! |

I actually think Rebel, though you seem to have dismissed them, has some of what you are looking for.

Hey Capt Jake: I didn't mean to dismiss them. I just already know about them and I have many of them. They're just not what I'm really looking for, although the African irregulars would work okay for civilians that are armed with old Soviet gear. Most of the rest of Mike's line just don't fit what I want because they fit what they are for: gangers look like gangers, the contractors are too well equipped and too corporate, as are the police types (although replace corporate with official), the zombie hunters are too modern "pulp" to be regular Joes. Also none of these ranges have AR-15/M-16s, hunting rifles, or other civilian weapons. The Khurasan look pretty good though! I didn't know about them. Thanks! |

There's also the Scene thesceneuk.com who do zombie hunting civilians and suits with pistols and a sniper rifle. |

Peter Pig do militia armed with AK47s, they could be painted as civvies. Careful selection should provide M16 armed minis that could be easily converted. These are in their 'AK47' range. Also look at the civvies in the WW2 range, assuming you are willing to do a little conversion work. Cheers, Kev |

In a similar vein, anyone know of good figures in 10 mm scale for armed civilians? (Want figures for HOTT, for post WW2/1950's humans v aliens games, especially figs for 'heroes' and ambushers/militia). M |
