Some time ago someone asked how to put the leaves onto the trees of GW's Citadel Woods. What I did that works great is to put a drill bit in a pin vise and drill through the leaf sections so they will slide down the nubs on the end of the tree brances. Glue them with plastic model cement, a little dab on the end of the tree limb is all you need. Level off the leaves so they look natural and then just glue the small sections on the nub showing through the bigger leaf sections. When dry they are very secure. I just found a drill bit the size of the nub on the end of the tree limb. Sometimes, to get the leaves level you'll have to round out the hole, then hold it in place so it won't droop when you go on to another section. |
