Well I thought i had things worked out to go to New Orleans on Thursday.
So, I woke up this morning in a good mood, then I looked in the mirror and I was lopsided. Significant swelling on the right side of my abdomen. So tests, tests and tests for the next few days.
Bummer, I really wanted to go to Colonial barracks.
I am so sorry Lori and Christy. I did so want to make it. On Friday I will be in the hospital getting tests. The waiting game for results will be mind numbing. Three bad possibilities and one correctable one. I am shooting for the correctable one. :)

Sorry to hear that Rudy. I hope for the best result for you too. We will miss you at CB.

Clay

Going to try to make it out Sunday for a game or two around my work schedule. Foolishly, I forgot the dates and didn't ask the boss lady for the time off :(.

First, Rudy we all are hoping for a favorable outcome. My thought and prayers are with you.

I've been really looking forward to my first Colonial Barracks.

Take care Rudy. I always enjoyed our dealings and your visit to our Stone Mountain Miniatures shop years ago. Our prayers are with you.

We will miss you Rudy, BUT get those health issues corrected FIRST and foremost. Your health is the most important thing right now, this won't be the last Colonial Barracks, not with the response we've been getting. I'll be thinking of you as I'm wearing the little cap I bought from you at Bayou Wars!!

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!!!!

Best wishes and hopes & prayers for your best possible outcome, Rudy.

Wish I was in New Orleans with Larry & Co. this year, the way I was last year. Hopefully I will be next year. But I know everyone there at Colonial Barracks will have a terrific time the next three days!

Leadjunky01 Nov 2012 3:27 p.m. PST

Well I already canceled my room. I kept waiting to see what games were going to be on the schedule and gave up and made other plans. We were just reluctant to commit to the cost and a five hour drive without more information. Sorry, maybe we will try next year.

Rudy, I hope the tests came back negative and that you are doing well now! Take care and hope to see you at HMGS South's RECON in Orlando.

I hope C.B. was as much fun this year as we had last year. I'm planning on making it next year if things work out.

Cheers,
Sgt. Guinness
