Hi, this is my first post here. I have a question to ask

I was at Legion 2012 over the weekend, and I picked up this random miniature while I was there, which may be th start of buying a few part or full naked female miniatures. The thing is, I didn't look for any sign to say where she came from, or who sculpted her. It was in a group of other painted minis, but they had a few boxes filled with unpainted and a ton of books and other wargaming detritus. The model was already painted and based to a very good standard. I don't have access to a decent camera and computer to connect it to at the moment, so I'll try to give as many details as I can.

First off, it's a metal (I think 28mm true-scale – it's pretty anatomically accurate) model with integral base. I can't tell you the shape of this base as the model's been stuck on a GW 25mm base and filler has been used to hide the original metal base. She's topless and has a loincloth. She's holding a plain but fairly wide sword high in her right hand and her left hand is open. There are two bands on each wrist, and she has tall boots with sort of tassels all around the tops. Her hair is shoulder-length, but sticks out and back around the ears.

I didn't see the model while looking through Reaper, and didn't try Hasslefree or Shadowforge due to the fact that both companies use separate bases rather than integral. I'm guessing it's from a small company.

As soon as I can I'll get pictures up to help. Thanks if you can help at all.

Sounds like a Celtos (Gael) barbarian because of the wide sword.

Celtos are slotta.

Don't think Celtos do nudey boobies either…?

Looking at the Legion 2012 website, Fighting 15s were there but I can't see anything in any of their stuff that fits the bill either.

The amount of scantily clad metal females in 28mm and producers of these is pretty high, so I assume you need to bring on a photo.

Meanwhile, anatomically correct (well, within the 28mm limits) with base could be Dark Sword Miniatures.

Yep, post a photo for us.

Oh, perfect! That's exactly it.

Here are the pics of the one I bought anyway if anyone's still interested.

I suppose this thread can be closed now.
