I managed to play Song of Blades and Heroes for the first time this evening, and put together a spooky Halloween themed battle. Vampires, skeletons, frankenmonsters and more battled it out over a desolate ruined town. A few pics are below with a full write up and more on my blog.

Very cool. Great painting too. Really like the chaos cult guys.

Great game & glad you liked SBH so much. I've run it a few times for friends too & they enjoyed it.

Who made the golem & cultist figures? I recognize the cultist leader from GW's Mordheim range, but not archers or demons.

I was a bit worried by this though
>Each warband deployed within a "long" distance of a table edge closest to the player's beer.
>his 6 year old son set up his "Cursed" [gang]
So the 6 yr old was drinking a beer?

I think the golems are from the Vampire Wars line. The cultists are various GW plastics kitbashed together.

And don't worry about the 6 year old. He had a non-algoholic O'doul's in his sippy cup. ;)

Looks like an excellent battle, and the terrain looks great!

Glad to see another budding fan of the SBH rules. They are our club's favorite and we had a great time playing a SBH campaign this summer.
