While waiting for the glue to dry on my other project (FWH) I got a decent start in on the French artillery position that will face off against FWH (recreating the scenes from the Last of the Mohicans).

This series has been really interesting amd I can see the connections between your models and the film. They really look the part and are inspiring. Once done I suppose there will be a couple of scenarios to play:
1. Small group of stragglers try and get through the lines to the fort.
2. A courier tries to escape while marksmen cover him from the walls and a brave major leads a Highland company in a diversion.
Of course the diversion is not in the cinematic release of 'Last of the Mohicans' which is a shame as it is about the only time that the redcoats show what they are capable off apart from being slaughtered by indians.

Exactly my thoughts … Thanks :-). I'm looking at an artillery duel between the fort and French gun position … The Brits need to get the courier off the table before the French win the seige by completing he engineering trenches (yet to be built).
