Good news

HistoryPhD26 Oct 2012 9:14 a.m. PST

Glad to see it. I bought them all from you when I lived in Scotland in the 90s

Belis4rius27 Oct 2012 1:22 a.m. PST

Thanks for the kind words. ACW is my main period and they were a joy to write.

6mmACW27 Oct 2012 7:27 a.m. PST

I've been searching for these books! Couldn't find them in print anywhere until now. Perfect. I'm very much looking forward to a new printing of your brigade-level scenario book "Bayonets, Shells, and Balls."

HistoryPhD27 Oct 2012 11:36 a.m. PST

Any thoughts of new volumes in addition to reprinting the originals? I spoke to Ryan not so long ago and it seems he would be willing to write more.

Belis4rius27 Oct 2012 12:27 p.m. PST

Ryan has been very busy of late and hasn't said anything to me about writing more. However I should be semi-retired early next year, so it is not impossible that we might put another volume together.

HistoryPhD27 Oct 2012 1:01 p.m. PST

That would be outstanding!! If I can help in any way, I'll be only too glad to do so

George,

This is really awesome, already purchased these first three PDFs. There was a lot of really excellent work done by you and others during that period, besides these excellent scenario books the first thing that comes to mind is the Shenandoah Campaign System. Such wonderful stuff produced for our hobby during the 80s and 90s.

Cheers,

The Bandit

Once again, thanks Bandit. They will all be on over the next few weeks, there is a lot of interest so I am glad we re-released them.

Are these scenarios set up for a specific scale?

Bandit29 Nov 2012 9:03 p.m. PST

Figure scale no, the scenarios give the raw number of men in each unit so they can be adapted to any figure scale.

Ground scale yes but this is easily adapted.

Game scope yes, the tactical ones are for games where the basic unit is a regiment and for the grand tactical ones the basic unit is a brigade.

Cheers,

The Bandit

Hey George,

Just wanted to know if there were more coming yet?

There are one or two posted I am yet to snag and wanted to know if more were rolling out as I'd pick them up all at once.

Cheers,

The Bandit

Purchased "Bullets and Dirt" few days back. I like it!

And I'll be buying more.

Speaking of which … is the Shenandoah Campaign system going to be reproduced?
