I seem to recall a clear silicone rubber being mentioned awhile back, which is good for beginning casters, but can't recall the name and manufacturer of it? Also, while we're on the subject, what's the name of the product, and manufacturer of the material you can use for mold making one-off casts, or just a few castings, and that can then be reused, since it remains pliable? I seem to recall with the latter, you just knead it again, or heat it up, to make it reusable, so it would be good for drop casting small parts. |

The re-usable stuff is called Gelflex I believe. |

If you are talking about the material that is malleable after setting in hot water and totally reusable I think you want Oyomaru. Craft shops here do not have it but I have seen it on line for pretty cheap. VR James Mattes |

Craft shops here do not have it Look for "Friendly Plastic", though its peak was a decade ago. |
