"Fanticide on sale" Topic

Alien Dungeon now has Fanticide for sale on their website.

Terrible name. Instantly puts me in mind of 'infanticide'. Not something I'd be happy leaving lying around the house. Deliberate choice to shock or just nobody saw the similarity? Either way I won't be getting it.
Shame as I've heard good things about it.

I have to agree somewhat about the name. I'm not buying it because it's not my cup of tea. And the name wouldn't stop me if it was, but I think they could have done better than that name. I wish them luck.

The more I read about this game, the less appealing it is to me. I was initially pretty excited but now, not so much. I think the charm of the game -- zany, crazy fantasy! flying monkeys! -- has worn off and now I'm just comparing it to existing fantasy skirmish sets out there and it comes up lacking…

Shardik- Yes. Infantile attempts to shock do nothing for me. I expected better from Priestley and co.
Panty Explosion may well have the best game mechanics of any game ever produced but I won't be buying that either.
mashrewba- Very droll.

High class game. From the lousy name to poor mechanics to a 'mordheim-like' skirmish that has squads, to 'flinging poo' as an attack.

Yeah, this one is a must-skip.

I bought in kickstarter I'm still waiting to hear when we'll get our stuff seems other folks who didn't support kickstarter are getting stuff already not a good way to say thanks for your support. So can't give you a review yet.
