A fascinating character, she was, in my opinion, everything Wallis Simpson could have been, if she'd had any sense. Take the good fortune that life gives you, and don't shoot for the moon.

She seems to me to be an excellent behind the scenes type of character for a pre/proto VSF game. The kind one goes to when they want to exercise some REAL influence on the government. Of course, you have to figure out who she is and what she can do, and that takes some adventuring.

Curious about her and similar characters. In a way, Anno Dracula uses Mycroft Holmes in a similar fashion. When lonely and silly queen vic decides to throw away the British Empire by giving it to the anti-Christ, Sherlock's fatter and smarter brother is the one who has to create the plot to rebuild it.

Just rambling. Curious about any use of these or similar characters in VSF intrigue.

The Victorian is FILLED with amazing personages! Ada Lovelace, Nellie Blye, Sofia Whatshername from Russia just to name or almost name a few.
