link link link It looks like a cool mix of the original HG Wells' concept of huge brains, low to the ground but with tentacles coming from beneath (like a potato sitting flat on top of noodles), and Spielberg's later movie depiction of more upright-walking Martians. How hard could they be to sculpt and, more importantly, could they cast if sculpted in that style? Here's another upright-walking one I'd really like to see done for 15mm: TMP link Thanks, Dan PS. And here are some descriptions of the original Wells' concept (potato sitting flat on top of noodles): TMP link |

I'd say the 15mm.Co.Uk Tentacled Brain Monster link is pretty darn close to your first pictures.

Extra Crispy, I really like the first and last poses in those pics! How tall is that first one, once put together? SirFjodin, what was the inspiration behind your design? And can the front limbs be given a weapon-holding pose, or would that risk breaking those forelimbs? Thanks, Dan |

Remember this one?
TMP link Ok guys, I know there's still TONS of detail yet do add, but let me know if I got somewhat close with this VERY early stage of my sculpt:

Thanks! Soon, I hope. I'm out of town at the moment, but will finish him up when I get back in a couple of weeks. Dan |
