The issue of incompatibility of 1/160 figures in a 1/100 (circa) milieu arises not from the mere height of the figures themselves but from the relative anatomy. In the real world shorter humanoids tend to be much stockier that man-sized humans/humanoids, think of real life dwarves and to dwarves and hobbits/halflings in fantasy settings. The quars, the chewks and the aphids (to mention a few 15mm figure ranges featuring smallish humanoids) all do take this into account. The Dropzone Commander figures, side by side with 15mm humans or humanoid aliens would just look like miniature homuncoli. |

Moqawama, And if little hoods are added, would you think the head-to-body ratio could be "distorted" sufficiently, enough to pass for a dwarf-like race? Dan |

I'd try cutting the faces off Chewks and drilling out the hood of their robes. You could either just paint the inside of the hoods in shadow, or press in very basic faces. The Dropzone Commander proportions looks "off" to me if you try and stand them in as a smaller race in 15mm, hoods or no. |

Yeah Dan
even if you ignore the problems of using figures designed for a completely different scale, the math just doesn't add up. 30 Scourge figures for $17 USD, or 24 Chewks for $9. USD -Chris K. |

That math is keeping me out of the game, sad to say. Lee |

See! That's why I never cared for math. Too clear-cut. :(
