I have uploaded the remaining issues of Charge!, the official newsletter of the Johnny Reb Gaming Society, to the Wargame Vault. All 36 issues are now available for purchase for a modest fee ($2.99 each, or even cheaper if you purchase issues by the "bundle" pack).

Debi and I have been publishing this quarterly since late 2003. We have just completed nine full years at this task, which we have done as a non-profit effort as a service to the Johnny Reb wargaming community (and now we are also publishing scenarios and articles for RFF and other rules).

I do not know how many more years we are going to continue the effort. Scenarios are getting harder to obtain, and a lot of material has already been tapped. That said, we enjoy doing this together as a husband-wife team, and we just may keep this going for a few more years.

I have heavily scaled back my wargaming involvement and have stopped publishing scenario books so I can focus on my burgeoning side career as a nationally known Civil War writer and lecturer. However, as long as folks keep sending us good material as we have received over the past almost a decade, we will keep Charge! going.

Thank you for your support.

Now, get those articles and scenarios to us!!!!!!

Thank you from historic York, PA, the largest town to fall to the Confederate army in the entire Civil War.

That's great to hear. I'm a big fan of Charge! and the old Zouave magazine. Each issue has lots of excellent information.

Scott, are you still going to publish the Gettysburg scenarios for skirmish wargaming? The first one you did was excellent, but I think the other scenarios are more friendly to the skirmish game for infantry. The Mclean farm and The Harmon Farm were great to do, and I think others would enjoy them and the others that I haven't tried yet!

I have no clue whether Ivor is going to publish them anytime soon. He's had the files for a couple of years, but he is so very busy with his day job.
