"The Workroom - The final pieces" Topic

A little update. The paint racks and small tool drawers arrived yesterday so I assembled those and put them in their respective places on my workbench. For all intents and purposes the area is done, although a stray thought went through my head yesterday about a possible extension of the desk along the back wall. I'll mull it over a bit though as it involves cutting some stuff I don't really want to cut but the potential additional area is making me rethink that. Anyway here is an overall picture (also note that there is now and additional shelf from the last time, and this may not be the final configuration of the components) and then more pictures of the individual components on my blog:

Ok, from where did you purchase said paint racks and tool drawers? Methinks I need to rearrange my painting area! Oops, I should have checked your blog before I asked.

I just checked their web site and they offer free shipping to the US on their system. Plus you can also get this in acrylic. Plus a 10% discount on orders over 250 AUD, which one could do.

Very tempting. I like the storage drawers a lot.

I would double check that shipping, the shipping charges on this were almost a third of the final cost. I waffled on this for two months because of the shipping charges to the US from Australia.

Hi, I sent them an email and they replied that this bundle pack was post free but not valid for the discount. The pack has inner and outer corners. The bundle pack is for both MDF and acrylic.

I was told that the special bundle pack would remain for the rest of the year.

Say Kris, did DHL send you a customs bill on your shipment?

I got my shelves last week and a bill today. Very odd.

I'm sorry I missed that question. I did not receive a bill from DHL for customs. At least not one that I'm aware of.
