As the title states, I'm looking for info on the saddlecloth of a General during the Mutiny period. I'm thinking dark blue with gold trim.
Thanks

If its any help, I painted my ones navy blue with gold double trim which I got from an Osprey on the Crimean War as I could find no references to the Indian Mutiny. Also East India Company General Officers had Navy Blue or Oxford Blue saddle cloths with gold trim.
