I placed an order with warweb 2 1/2 weeks ago, but they never notified that the order had shipped or was on backorder. I've sent them 2 emails asking the status of the order but they have responded to neither- has anyone else had issues with warweb?

I should have ordered directly from ghq. I've been spoiled by their quick service.

Warweb hardly ever writes back or answers email, it is a bad spot with them. Check and see if your credit card has been charged, that is the best way of knowing when they have shipped…

When they can they read TMP. maybe they will see this one. I talked to them yesterday.

Well they charged the card the day that the order was placed but they clearly weren't shipped then.

Strange, my orders never get charged till they shipped – did you use the paypal option?

chrach713 Oct 2012 5:46 p.m. PST

Yes, that's probably why. I don't understand how someone can expect to stay in business with such bad customer service.

My impression is that they don't stock everything on their website, so they have to order it from the manufacturer when they get your order. So you really can't predict when you'll get the order. Still, they have always come through for me. It must also be said that it is quite convenient to be able to order figures from several different manufacturers from one site.

Warweb usually takes some time which is why I don't order anything from them that is a priority. That being said I always get exactly what I ordered with a good discount to boot. Like Grelber mentioned it does save on postage to go through Warweb than through several manufacturers.

Warweb can be very frustrating and my experience mirrors others here. They are not the fastest and as mentioned if speed a necessity then best to order elsewhere. It has frequently taken 3-4 weeks at least to get my orders. Also they dont notify when they will/have shipped.

On the other hand have always had all my orders complete and the normal discounts make them hard to pass up. I will continue to order from them for certain items especially where speed is not an issue.

If they could improve customer service, at the very least the communications aspect and an upfront statement about normal processing and delivery times, I think they could have a killer operation.

I've had the same kind of problem. And the only contact for them is email. Can't call them on the phone.
If Warweb does read TMP then read this. YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I've placed several orders with them and have not had any issues, always shipped on time. Yes it may take a little longer but I am willing to trade that off for the discounts that I get.

If I am not mistaken, they state on their website that it takes several weeks to fulfill an order. He does not keep a lot of stock and orders as needed as fresh orders come in. 40 percent off for the WWII 15mm stuff is quite the bargain and you don't have to have the OG Army card to order them.

Me? I will probably go the Army Card route as the Blue Moon stuff coming out is just too tempting ;-)

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks with no product. I have asked warweb.com to either confirm shipping or cancel my order and refund the credit card. We'll see how they respond.

I understand 2-3 weeks if they are ordering from GHQ then shipping it on to me, but I've placed and received 3 orders from GHQ in less time than it's taken to get a single order from warweb.

chrach707 Nov 2012 2:11 p.m. PST

I received this in response to my last email to warweb:

Let me first say that your frustration is completely understood. I contacted GHQ Monday about the status of our re-stock and they informed me that the order had been complete but that they had "just forgotten to email us the invoice". It has been sitting around for weeks. Needless to say this was cause for a lot of anger. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I will be refunding you your payment, and you should see the money returned to you in 1-2 business day. Again, I am very sorry for this.

The full amount was refunded to my credit card. Thus ends the mini-drama.
