Bring Your A Game has a great interview with the guys at Bay Area Yards, who produce some of the best 1/600 iron-clad era ships and accessories out there. "A few weeks ago a couple of us here at Bring Your A-Game tried our hand at a rule set for American Civil War Ironclads. We had a blast playing the game, and, long story short, our editor caught the bug. That very night he went online and placed his first order for some 1:600 scale ships, purchasing from Bay Area Yards. A few days later a package containing some gorgeous ships arrived in his mailbox. After "oohing" and "ahhing" over the ships for a few moments, he went online and contacted Stephen Taylor, proprietor of Bay Area Yards and asked if he could interview him and his shipwrights. He graciously agreed and today we present a look at mastering 1:600 scale ships." agamemag.com/archives/2791 link |

Interesting interview. I just wish BAY would make available those models that have been out of stock since June 2011. I really need a Galena, and how often do you hear someone say that? |
