Been playing alot recently. I really like the simple and easy rules, but the attacker seems to win most of the time (80%). Any suggestions?

I've found that.

I think its because the objectives are so valuable for the Attacker in terms of Victory Points. The Defender needs to work very hard to make up the D6+5s and D6+3s that are available. In fact the only time I can remember winning by a reasonable margin as a Defender was when my opponent ignored the objectives and concentrated on trying to destroy my ships.

I might of found something. Objective #2 cannot be placed on a sandbar. So if the attacker does not move the sandbars placed near the shoreline by the objective. Objective #2 can be moved down toward the defender. We try that out this weekend.
