Lone Warrior, the journal of The Solo Wargamers Association, is now being offered as a PDF subscription option :

A year of LW as PDFs will be $15 USD, compared to the paper subscription of $25 USD-40 (depending on where in the world you may be !).

Well, that brought me back, at least for a year.

I had been looking at LW the other day, but the lack of an electronic option turned me off- I will give it a try now.

Same here I will be checking out a year of the PDF.

Any thoughts on making any of the earlier volumes available this way as well?

I subscribed for a year or two back near the beginning of LW, how long has that been? 20 years? Possibly more? huh?

Cheers,

old fart guinness

Huzzah !

And : TMP link

I guess the pdfs of older issues will become available given time / reasonable level of demand.

The SWA was founded in 1976 IIRC. LW at various times has been quarterly and bi-monthly and A4 and A5 sized – currently quarterly and A4 again.

My only regret about the SWA is that I didn't join sooner – got a lot of back issues, but don't have quite a complete set yet !

I notice that PDF copies are now available going back to issue 109 now.

Phew, I was a member of the Solo WA right at the start when that guy from Kenny Balls Jaz Band ran it, suprised to find it still going. Well done and keep it going.

Best wishes Patrick
