I would have started off using Horizon Bleu, Horizon Blue, Bleu Horizon but as I don't know the correct phrase you get the idea. Can anyone give me a Vallejo recommendation for 10mm figures (that are going to be washed in GW Devlan mud afterwards) Si |

Possibly 906 "Pale Blue/Azul Palido, 901 Pastel Blue/Azul Pastel, or 961 Sky Blue/ Azul Cielo. |

How about the color for a WW1 early war german?

Vallejo actually do Horizon Blue, which is what I painted my late WW1 french with
. (iirc it has ended up being translated as 'Mirage Blue'). |

Mirage blue is too dark, and a hair on purplish side as well. It is an attractive paint colour, just not right for horizon blue. Here is an excellent study in a museum (and not behind glass) link |
