Just announced is a new 'halftrack on legs' for the Axis and a new Soviet 'heavy' walker. I put 'heavy' in quotes since that would be a medium class walker by German and American standards. Still, very nice: link |

That announcement ran over three weeks ago, although I don't recall seeing a news story here. They do look pretty good, and as usual they have a lot of potential for other rule sets like Secrets of the Reich, especially the APC walker. The real Soviet heavyweights are going to be actual tanks. The IS-48 boxed set from way back in this update link is their equivalent to Axis & Allied heavy walkers. No danger of the Reds lagging behind in the heavy metal catagory. :) |

I'll be more interested when items announced nearly six months ago actually make it to retailers. I have over $250 USD sitting in pre-ordered items waiting on one or two final pieces. |
